Words from the President:

  Thank you for visiting the Aeolian website. It is a great privilege to be President of the choir, and I would like to extend a warm invitation to anyone who might like to come and sing with us. When I first joined the Aeolian I hadn't sung in a choir since my school days and wasn't sure what to expect, but I quickly discovered just how welcoming, supportive and genuinely good fun it is.

Tuesday nights at the Howard Centre have become a brilliant escape from the busy-ness of life: to do something completely different from the day-job, enjoy good company, and learn something new. When fifty singers come together (and get the right notes in the right places), it sounds pretty special! Under the guidance of our excellent Musical Director and Accompanist, rehearsals are relaxed, encouraging and full of energy. 

Singing is great for your physical and mental health, and it's easy to join in (there are no auditions and you don't have to sing on your own) - why not come along and give it a try! Whether you've sung for years or haven't sung since school assembly, you'll find a warm welcome.
